Modified on Wed, 29 Jan at 8:34 AM

After you finish taking a clip with Medal, you will want to upload your awesome clip for others to see!

Uploading your clips on the Medal Desktop App is straightforward. Follow these detailed steps to share your amazing gaming moments with friends and the Medal community.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Upload from the Clip Library

You can upload directly from the Clip Library by right-clicking the Clip and one of the options that will be available for you:

Create Link - This creates a temporary link for you to share with your friends.
Post to Profile - Make a public post directly in your profile.
Sync to Cloud - Uploads to Medal Cloud which only you have access to, to free up some local storage space (Premium Only).

You can also click on the bubble in the top left of the clip to select the clip. You can then click on Create a Private Link or Sync to Cloud (Premium Only).

Upload From the Quick Trimmer

After you have taken a clip, you will likely want to open it through your Clip Library. This will open the clip in our Quick Trimmer, allowing you to trim, remove all audio, tag, and add #hashtags.

After you are done, there will be an option to Create Link or Post your clip. Click the Post button to share your clip to your profile!

If you choose to create an expiring link, you can quickly share your clip without posting it to your profile. Public clips will be visible to everyone while expiring links are temporary and will only be usable for 14 days.

Medal Premium Features

  • Cloud Sync: Automatically upload all your clips instantly or after you are done gaming.
  • Upload Screen Recordings: Screen recordings can only be uploaded with a premium subscription.
