How does Auto Upload work?
When you enable Cloud Sync, any new clips you capture will be automatically uploaded to the Medal Cloud based on your chosen settings.
Enabling Auto Upload ensures that your clips are backed up and accessible from any device, reducing the need for local storage, automatically syncing your clips to Medal Cloud.
Setting up Auto Upload on Medal
When Medal Auto Uploads your Clips
- Instantly
- Clips are synced to the cloud immediately after being saved.
- This feature will use bandwidth if set to Instantly.
- When my game closes
- Clips are synced to the cloud after you close your game.
- Never
- Clips are not synced to the cloud automatically.
Link expiry
- Links expire after 14 days
- Clips are synced as temporary Links that can be freely shared with your Friends.

- Links never expire
- Clips will be synced into your Medal Cloud to save PC storage.
- You can access and share these Clips on any device by logging in into Medal's app.
