What is Medal Cloud?
Medal Cloud is a feature that provides cloud storage for your gaming clips. When you enable Cloud Sync, your clips are automatically uploaded to the Medal's Cloud without needing to post the Clips to your profile. This ensures that your clips are always backed up and accessible from any device with internet access, but only you can access.
How to automatically Cloud Sync your Clips
Auto Uploads allows your clips to be uploaded to the cloud immediately after they are created. This feature ensures that you don't have to manually upload each clip, saving you time, effort, and most importantly, storage space.
- Go to Medal's Settings > Cloud & Storage > Auto Upload. Alternatively, you can search for Auto Upload in the top left.
- Choose one of the three provided options and make sure to set the Link Expiry option to Links never expire.
Cloud Sync in the Editor
Cloud Sync in the Editor lets you upload your clips directly from the Medal Editor. This feature integrates seamlessly with your editing workflow, making it easy to manage and store your edited clips in the cloud.
- Create a Clip: Press the Clip Hotkey or trim a session to create a new clip in the Editor.
- Select Cloud Upload: Choose the option to upload the clip to the cloud. This will automatically sync your clip to Medal Cloud.
- Access Your Clips: Your clips are now available on any device through your Medal.TV account on other devices. Simply log in and navigate to your clips to view, edit, or share them.
Bulk Cloud Sync
You can bulk sync your clips easily! Start by selecting the filters to display only "local" clips (not sessions). Once filtered, press "Ctrl+A" to select all clips or manually pick the ones you’d like to sync. Finally, click on the "Sync to Cloud" button to back up your clips to the cloud.
