Cloud Sync on Medal.TV is a premium feature that allows you to automatically upload your clips to the Medal Cloud. This feature helps you free up space on your local device while ensuring your clips are safely stored and accessible from anywhere.

What is Medal Cloud?

Medal Cloud is a feature that provides cloud storage for your gaming clips. When you enable Cloud Sync, your clips are automatically uploaded to the cloud, freeing up space on your local device. This ensures that your clips are always backed up and accessible from any device with internet access.

How does it work?

When you enable Cloud Sync, any new clips you capture will be automatically uploaded to the Medal Cloud based on your chosen settings. There are two ways to manage your clips:

1. Instant Cloud Sync

2. Cloud Upload In Editor

Instant Cloud Sync

Instant Cloud Sync allows your clips to be uploaded to the cloud immediately after they are created. This feature ensures that you don't have to manually upload each clip, saving you time and effort.

1. Go to Medal's settings, and search for "Cloud Sync"
2. Open "Post and Upload" Tab from the left-hand side.

Cloud Sync In The Editor

Cloud Sync in the Editor lets you upload your clips directly from the Medal Editor. This feature integrates seamlessly with your editing workflow, making it easy to manage and store your edited clips in the cloud.

1. Create a Clip: Press the Clip Hotkey or trim a session to create a new clip in the Editor.
2. Select Cloud Upload: Choose the option to upload the clip to the cloud. This will automatically sync your clip to Medal Cloud.
3. Access Your Clips: Your clips are now available on any device through your Medal.TV account on other devices. Simply log in and navigate to your clips to view, edit, or share them.

Configuring Cloud Sync

1. Enable Cloud Sync:
   • In the "Post & Upload" section, locate the "Cloud Sync" option.
   • Toggle the switch to enable Cloud Sync. This will allow your clips to be automatically uploaded to the Medal Cloud.
2. Choose Upload Timing:
   • You can select when you want your clips to be uploaded:
     • Instantly: Clips are uploaded to the cloud as soon as they are created.
     • When my game closes: Clips are uploaded after you close your game.
     • Prompt when my game closes: You will be prompted to upload clips when your game closes.
     • Never: Clips will not be automatically uploaded.
