What is Voice Clipping in Medal.tv?


Voice Clipping in Medal.tv allows you to capture and save your voice audio along with your gameplay clips. This feature enhances your clips by including real-time reactions, commentary, or voice chat during gaming sessions.


How can I use Voice Clipping to save my Clips?


Go to Medal's Settings > Audio & Camera > Input Device Settings and toggle Voice Clipping.



Then you can Clip by saying "Medal, clip that".


If you are running any game before toggling this feature, you will need to restart it.

How do I change my system language to English (US)?


 If your system is set to a different language, Medal.tv may not detect or enable the Voice Clipping feature.


  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Time & Language > Language & Region.
  3. Under Preferred Languages, click Add a language.
  4. Search for and select English (United States).
  5. After adding the language, click it and select Set as default.
  6. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Can I switch back to my preferred system language after using Medal.tv?

Yes, you can change your system language back after using Medal.tv. However, keep in mind that switching away from English (US) might disable the Voice Clipping feature again.

Why isn’t Voice Clipping available in other system languages?


Currently, Medal.tv’s Voice Clipping feature uses Window's voice detection to trigger Voice Clipping. Because of this, Voice Clipping in Medal.tv is optimized for use with English (US) system settings. Expanding language support requires updates to accommodate different regional configurations, which may be introduced in the future.
