How to add a Microsoft Store Game to Medal

This article will guide you through the steps to access detailed information about a game running on your Microsoft Store using Task Manager. This is useful for troubleshooting and providing necessary details to support agents. For this example, we will use Minecraft: Bedrock.


Grabbing Game Info from Task Manager 


  1. Start your Microsoft Store game (e.g., Minecraft: Bedrock). 
  2. Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.  
  3. In Task Manager, find the game process (e.g., Minecraft). 
  4. Expand the game process by clicking on the arrow next to it. 
  5. Right-click on the expanded game process. 
  6. Select Go to details. This will switch you to the Details tab with the game process highlighted. 
  7. Right-click on the highlighted process and select Properties. In our example it is Minecraft.Windows
  8. Copy or take a screenshot of the information in the Properties window. 
  9. Send this information to the support agent.
