How to Enable Hold-to-Record on Medal

Enable Hold-to-Record to start a full session recording by pressing and holding the clip hotkey (Default: F8) for more than one second. This feature is useful for recording segments where you anticipate important events, such as replay files, cut scenes, or the start of a new match. If you want to record specific parts of your game without ending your session, this option is perfect for you!

How It Works

To start recording, press and hold the clip hotkey (Default: F8) for more than one second. Medal will greet you with a "Recording started" message, and you will hear Medal's voice notifying you that your recording has begun. This recording can last as long as you desire during your gaming session.

To end the recording, press and hold the clip hotkey (Default: F8) again and the recording will stop at any point of interest during your gaming session.
