Automatic Event Detection or Auto Clipping  is Medal's auto-capture system powered by Medal AI!

With auto clipping enabled, you don't need to worry about pressing your clip hotkey to save that kill, Medal will capture it automatically. You can also set a custom clip length for auto clipping clips!

If you are using Full Session Recording, Medal will automatically create bookmarks instead of clips.

Please note: Auto Clipping does not currently support Ultra-wide monitors set higher than a 16:9 resolution. We are working on a solution for this.

Where can I find it?

You can locate the Auto Clipping settings in Settings > Game Detection.

How do I set it up?

Click on the game you want to have Medal auto-capture and enable it in the new Window. You can also enable/disable events inside the same panel! 

What games are currently supported?

The game/event I want isn't supported. Can I request it?

Of course! You can actually add a new game for auto clipping by selecting the Add a new game button on the same settings page.

Auto Clippping isn't clipping/bookmarking or Auto Clipping is clipping/bookmarking the wrong things. What do I do?

First, check to make sure suto clipping is supported on your PC. You can learn more here
