If you're noticing all of your clips are green it's likely a driver issue, but I'll list a bunch of steps that should fix this for you.
Delete Cache Data
To delete your cache data, you will want to open Developer tools on your Medal app. There are a couple of ways to go about doing this:
From the System Tray
Navigate to your System Tray in the bottom right-hand corner and find your Medal app icon. Right-click on the Medal app and select Toggle Developer Tools. |
Using the Medal App
Another way to go about this is to open Developer Tools in the Medal app. Once you have your app open, you will want to press Ctrl + Alt + i, and it should open a new window on the right-hand side of the app. |
Clear Site Data
Once you have the Developer Tools enabled, you will want to select the Application tab. (If you do not see this, click on the >> next to Network) From here, click on the Clear storage option in the sidebar and click on the Clear site data button. When this is done, restart your Medal app, and try to play your video again! |
Update Your Graphics Drivers
To update your Graphics Driver (GPU) , you will want to go to your Device Manager in Windows. To get here, simply type Device Manager in your Windows Search Box. You can also get here by right-clicking on the Windows icon and selecting Device Manager. |
In your Device Manager, you will want to look for Display Adapters and hit the drop down. You should see your GPU driver in this area. Right-click on your GPU and select Update driver. A new window will pop up asking "How do you want to search for new drivers?", make sure to select the Search automatically for drivers option. Windows should detect your GPU and find its latest driver. Once this is complete, please restart your PC. |
Disable Hardware Acceleration
Another thing to try, would be to disable UI Hardware Acceleration in your Medal app. To get here, open your Medal app then go to Settings > System and toggle off UI Hardware Acceleration. After doing so, please restart your Medal app. |
Hardware Troubleshooting
We can also see if Windows can find anything wrong with your hardware. To do this, please go to your Windows Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter. |
