Connect your Roblox Account to Medal

Step By Step Guide on How to Connect your Roblox account to Medal

Go to Settings and in the list select the Connected Accounts tab.
Once you are in the Connect Accounts section, select the Roblox icon.
After you click on the Roblox icon, you will be prompted to sign into your Roblox account.
Select the profile you want to connect. Scroll down to continue, then click on confirm and give access.
Upon successful authentication, a new tab will open with the "You’re all set!" message. You have now successfully linked your Roblox account with Medal!

Troubleshooting your Roblox connection to Medal

Error: "You are not allowed to use this application."

The error you are seeing is from Roblox, not Medal. The URL on the error page is authorize.roblox.com, which is hosted on Roblox's servers, so the block happens before any request reaches us. We cannot bypass it on our side.

Roblox blocks third-party app authorization when any of the following is true on your Roblox account:

1. The account is under 13. Under-13 accounts cannot authorize any third-party apps. If your DOB on Roblox was set incorrectly, Roblox support can correct it.
2. Account Restrictions (parental controls) is on. Check at https://www.roblox.com/my/account#!/account-restrictions and turn it off if enabled.
3. The email set up on Roblox is not verified. Check at https://www.roblox.com/my/account#!/info, look for an unverified email banner.
4. A previous Medal authorization is cached as denied. Go to https://www.roblox.com/my/account#!/security, remove any existing Medal entry under Authorized Apps, then retry.

If none of the four apply and you still see an error, open a Support Ticket and send a screenshot of the exact error you are seeing along with the URL bar visible at the top.
