If you are experiencing issues with Medals Overlay not appearing In-Game, try these solutions:

Windows Vista/7:

Enable Window Aero:

Windows Aero is what allows notifications and overlays to have transparency. If this is disabled, Medals overlays will not work, but you will still be able to clip your game play.

Windows Aero is usually enabled by default, but changing Windows Theme can disable this. You can re-enable Aero following these steps:

1. Right click on an empty space on your desktop and select Personalize

2. Click the Window Color link below the theme

3. Select the Enable Transparency check box so there is a check mark in the box and then select Save Changes

If enabling transparency did not help, you can try Repairing the Medal Application.
