Clips are small videos (up to 20 minutes) that are saved as MP4 files. These can be uploaded directly though Medal.
Sessions are bigger recordings (hours long up to whatever your PC storage can handle) that are saved as MKV files. You cannot upload these but you can create a Clip from it. This way the Sessions stays intact and you can get a new Clip from it to Edit, Montage, and Post.
